Internet Governance

AFFED participates in global and regional Internet Governance Forums to ensure African voices help shape a free, open, secure, and inclusive internet that serves sustainable development.

Girl Child Education

We champion equal access to quality education for girls across Africa, working to remove the social, economic, and cultural barriers that keep girls out of school.

  • Partner with communities and schools to close the gender gap in education

Women Empowerment & Gender Equality

AFFED drives initiatives that expand economic, social, and political opportunities for women, advancing gender equality as a foundation for sustainable development.

  • Support survivors of gender-based violence and discrimination

HIV/AIDS Awareness and Prevention

Through community outreach and education, AFFED works to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS, fight stigma, and connect vulnerable populations to care and support services.

Cybersecurity

AFFED promotes cybersecurity awareness and capacity building to protect African individuals, institutions, and governments from growing digital threats.

Drug Prevention

We work with communities and international partners to prevent drug abuse among young people through education, awareness, and rehabilitation support.

  • Collaborate with UNODC and regional bodies on drug policy

Fight Against Corruption

AFFED advances transparency, accountability, and good governance by supporting anti-corruption advocacy in line with the UN Convention against Corruption.

  • Support civil society monitoring of anti-corruption commitments
  • Engage with CoSP and UNODC processes on anti-corruption

Human Trafficking Prevention

We combat human trafficking and modern slavery through awareness campaigns, victim support, and advocacy for stronger protective legal frameworks.

  • Contribute to global efforts including UNTOC and COP processes

Climate Change

AFFED engages in climate advocacy and community resilience programs to help African nations adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Disaster Risk Reduction

Building on our participation in the World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, AFFED supports community preparedness and resilience against natural and man-made disasters.

Water Preservation and Sanitation

AFFED promotes sustainable water management and improved sanitation access, informed by our engagement at global water forums and summits.
